AI is being utilized in the workplace by 72% of European organizations
The recent report by Littler analyzed the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in European workplaces.
According to the report, the majority of respondents (72%) stated that their organizations are using generative or predictive AI in at least one HR function, showing an increase from the previous year where only about 60% reported the same.
When it comes to the use of AI in data protection and information security laws, over half of the respondents (53%) expressed moderate to high levels of concern. Additionally, 38% shared similar concerns regarding the potential impact of AI on job displacement.
Generative AI presents specific challenges due to the ease with which employees can use these tools in their work. Despite this, 53% of respondents believe that employees are not misusing these tools. Having clear policies on employee use can help address this, but only 29% reported having an established policy in place.
