SentinelOne Appoints Alex Stamos as Chief Information Security Officer

Alex Stamos has been appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Sentinel One. As the former Chief Security Officer of Meta and Chief Information Security Officer at Yahoo!, he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s security engineering and operations teams.

With a wealth of experience in the field of cybersecurity, Stamos joined SentinelOne as Chief Trust Officer in 2023 following the acquisition of the Krebs Stamos Group. His impressive background includes serving on the Aspen Institute’s Cyber Security Task Force, the DHS Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, the Bay Area CSO Council, and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Stamos also sits on the advisory board of NATO’s Collective Cybersecurity Center of Excellence and remains involved in teaching cybersecurity and policy at Stanford University.
