Insights from Security Leaders
Tom Corn, Chief Product Officer at Ontinue:
“Traditionally, organizations have accumulated a multitude of security tools from different vendors, leading to complexity and increased risk. Simplifying security infrastructure has become a priority for many organizations to align policy and controls effectively and reduce the attack surface. The focus is on rationalizing security controls and technologies like SIEM and EDR.”
Chad Graham, Manager of Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) at Critical Start:
“The fast-paced evolution of cybersecurity requires MSPs to stay ahead of trends like AI and machine learning for threat detection, zero trust architecture, and advanced analytics for predictive threat modeling. Compliance demands, regulatory changes, and skills shortages necessitate investment in training, strong vendor relationships, and adaptable security solutions.”
“Addressing the cybersecurity skills shortage is crucial. MSPs should prioritize talent development, leverage automation and AI, cultivate a strong cybersecurity culture, and encourage collaboration within the cybersecurity community to bolster resilience and security posture.”
Dave Gerry, CEO at Bugcrowd:
“Automation, machine learning, and AI will enhance operational efficiency for MSPs. With a narrower range of technology offerings, MSPs can optimize hiring efforts to focus on recruiting the right talent to meet customer needs.”
