40% of organizations have established AI policies for critical infrastructure.
A recent study by MeriTalk revealed that 80% of cybersecurity decision makers believe that speeding up the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) is crucial for their organization’s resilience against emerging threats, yet only 31% indicate that their organization currently utilizes AI.
The study also shows that 86% see collaboration between humans and AI as key to effective cybersecurity strategies, but one in five fully trust AI to make cybersecurity decisions autonomously.
Less than half have established policies for decision-making models or formal ethical guidelines for testing programs, and only 40% have specific policies for critical infrastructure. Additionally, 30% feel adequately prepared to defend against cybersecurity threats driven by AI.
